| SPENDING PLAN |
The following outlines will help you start to plan your spending. You may find that you already do some or even all of them-great stuff, the rest won't be too difficult for you in that case. The new book Realistic Living expands on these and many others and should be available within the next few months.
1) Pay yourself first
2) Set a realistic Spending Plan
3) Your Credit Cards are killing you
4) Accept the get-rich-quick schemes don't work
5) Find your own unreasonable friend
6) Stop saving for a rainy day-invest for some sunny days
7) Consider whether you suffer from the Cinderella complex
8) Believe that wealth and happiness can go hand in hand
9) Write you own 'everywhere' statement
10) Make a decision to start now
On the following page, fill in anything you pay regularly which is not on the list, cross off anything on the list which doesn't apply to you-in other words personalize it. Get a few photocopies of the page (10 cents a page at the library) use Liquid Paper to get rid of what you don't need and write on what you do need. It's only a guideline, so change it around to suit yourself.
